The next day Monday, May 27, marked the return to Lisbon as the final stop to my trip. I checked out of my hostel in Guimaraes and boarded a train to Porto, then to Lisbon. I spent the train ride sleeping until I arrived in Lisbon, where I boarded the metro, switched to a different metro, and finally made it to the Belem district of Lisbon. I checked into my hostel which had an Arabian theme to it.

Most things in Portugal are closed on Mondays and it was already late in the day as today was more of a travel day. I wandered down the street to Rut Dos Pregos Restaurante for dinner where I ordered Cream of Seafood Soup, Steak & Eggs with French Fries, & Rice Pudding. I finished up the travel day by going back to the hostel and taking a much needed shower.
